[No. Absolutely no. That is not an acceptable thing to say. He's locked out. House can guess that easily enough. He wouldn't be contacted if it were a monster.]
where are you? don't just freaking sit on top of the snow if there are any banks start digging yourself a cave and get inside get inside and seal it up except for a tiny hole for air find something it doesn't matter what try to construct a tent if you have any materials don't just die, you idiot
[There's something aching in his chest. Everyone dies here. Why had he thought threatening Luna would change that. Everyone dies.]
[If this were another circumstance, he'd probably be a bit more snappy about it. Of course he's not just sitting in the snow. But this is so hard, and he's getting so cold so fast, and he just doesn't know how likely it is that he's going to finish constructing this thing before the blizzard does him in. Quark doesn't even think it'll do much good in the end.
[About a dozen swears run through House's mind, increasing in obscenity.]
don't bother replying again until you're inside some shelter you're wasting time talking to me
[Wasting time, making him feel helpless. Sitting and fretting has never been one of House's strong suits. He takes action, but there's nothing he can do here. It's-]
i'm contacting the admin hell if i know if it'll help but i'm contacting them
[Quark doesn’t waste the time it would take to write an apology. He can figure about how well that would go over, anyway. He puts the tablet inside of his coat while he gets back to work on that snow shelter. It feels so futile, though. It’s hard enough just to make something big enough for him to get into, and even once he has managed to make a cubby for himself and squeeze into it, it’s too cold. It feels like being in an ice coffin. The blizzard is raging so hard by then, he fears the snow will just collapse under the ferocity of the wind and the weight of the new snow falling and crush him.
A while later, Quark responds. By now, it’s obvious that the admin isn’t going to intervene. And Quark isn’t so sure how much longer he has.]
