what i know is from a couple of other guys from his world who're dead he was supposedly attacked and mindscrewed by something called the operator i'm sorry the ⨂perator if you see any of those stupid x's through o's or 0's, they're because of him anyway this thing is basically some sort of monster that chases people around and turns them into slaves looking for something called "the ark" which is supposed to have the answers to life, the universe, and everything
i tried telling him it was 42 but he's apparently not a douglas adams fan
anywho he's obsessed with the ark hates people who call him sick even though he has seizures and coughs up blood on the regular and is completely non-verbal
he's also got a hateboner on for a guy named alex who murdered another one of his friends so he wants to murder this guy who apparently was the one who brought the operator down on everyone's head in the first place
[And this is exactly why he asked. It certainly puts shit in perspective, and answers a few other questions besides. He takes a moment just to rub at the bridge of his nose and try to absorb it all. It helps to know he wasn't wrong for being suspicious.]
so that budges the freakout meter up a few ticks answers what the heck those slashy os ive seen were too and the ark and why ive seen him pop pills a couple times glad im keeping my distance tonight jade already said that operator thing is like a horrorterror and a first guardian combined which if she hasnt explained is like horrorterrors are giant space calamari beyond mortal comprehension living on the edge of reality and first guardians are omnipotent things that are supposed to be for protecting a planet but whose powers can be drastically misused if put in the wrong hands which is something weve seen up close and personal just to add that extra take on how fucked up this is
