We know there's a spiral path and there's a power plant in the northeast corner we can use as a guide for when to start heading south. If enough of it's still intact to be recognizable.
The extent of the tunnel damage seems too much for man-made. I'm just wondering what the hell is up with the ice wall covering half the buildings, but leaving places like downtown and the residential areas uncovered. I'm sure it's the 'maze' design, but why? Increased difficulty level and limited movement as we move forward?
I think I'll have to rely on descriptions for what a "power plant" looks like, but here's hoping there's enough of it left.
The overall destruction I would assume was caused by this bomb, but the internal destruction, all of the ruined furniture and twisted metal- I think that was deliberate. I think even some of the crushed rooms were deliberate- the shapes left behind in some cases are just too intentional.
But I agree that the snow wall seems... well, also intentional, but it makes no sense. I have trouble believing that the snow would just happen to not fall as heavily on certain areas, but the only reasons I can think of for building walls are to keep things in, or to keep things out. Or in this case, potentially both. We're obviously what they want to keep in- didn't Miller say something about losing their control over us outside of town?
But as for which areas of the city they decided to wall in and which they didn't, and why they didn't simply let us have the run of the whole place, I can't say. It's probably tied up with why they keep information away from us, and don't help in cases where they most likely could.
It'll be a huge factory-like building. Usually relatively isolated.
Agreed on the internal damage for some of the buildings, though. We do know the Admin has robots at its disposal. Maybe they're only designated to certain parts of the city? We need more info. [Isn't that always the way of it?]
I'll keep you updated on anything else I find. Also might wanna keep an eye on that mark. See if it reacts with anything.
