We were finally heading up to building 15 and this happens.

Hope you're hanging in there, House. I'm not sure if you'd be interested in this or not, but I have videos of a few affected people that I took last night. I thought it might give us insight on what happened. I noticed that every time someone attacked me, the video glitched and distorted.

Yep. Some people tried to fight it, but that was less prevalent as the night went on.

[ He figured House might like the extra info that came with the videos. ]

Oh yeah? Hadn't thought of that.

I'm not planning on posting them to the network. But Zane's only got so much longer, I figure. He's past his expiration date.

so much leaning chins on hands

I told Sherlock before he figured it out and offhandedly mentioned it to the entire network. So of course, he told Watson. And I suspect Watson is slowly telling everyone. So really, I did this to myself.

The first three are all within the first two hours. Funny how easy it was to make it across the whole town. I also met up with Al in that time, but I didn't record him. An hour after that, I escaped from some idiot with an assault rifle. He seemed a little too serious for me to film. Sherlock found me an hour and a half after that.

So yeah, I'd say they were able to resist early on. But as time went on, the instinct became too 'natural' a thought for them to fight.

That's not even true here, actually. Just expect all the secrets to get out, at one point or another.

I don't think so? It seemed like some sort of future tech. It was smarter than the guy holding it, told him to follow my footprints.

Yep, that's my guess. Why he was allowed to keep a weapon on him is beyond me. Maybe it had enough of a personality for Eve to consider it a 'person' on its own?

No, it wasn't. It could be that it was just more focused than its owner, but maybe it was unaffected.

Someone here has a cat as a pet? I assume we're not talking starcat.
