[The almost-cheerful response is practically surprising! But Quark isn't going to question it. He's pretty stoked he found something in the first place.]
Okay! Thanks!
[He'll hope that House'll be able to find something. He's way too invested at this point to just leave it at that. His thoughts all surrounding Shelley, he's surprised at the next question.]
Oh, um...actually, I don't know. I don't have any plans on what to do next. [Except for stock up on food, but that won't take too long, hopefully.] Why? Did you need something from them?
[Because he doesn't mind running errands. Why not, right?]
Yeah. Angel took my medication without asking for Rhys when he was dealing with a couple of broken ribs. Guessing Epps blanked on the fact he could call the Admin. Asked for 'em back but he's decided, apparently, that he needs it more for his med kit than I need it for my prescription now that he doesn't have to use it on Rhys.
Think you could get that back for me? Really not in the mood to argue with the guy again, especially if I don't find a restock for my meds at the pharmacy while we're down here.
[This all has the benefit of generally being true, but cuts out the part where Clayton had asked him for the meds in the first place and the fact that the call to the Admin had been explicitly against Clayton's wishes.]
[Quark is...shocked. He only talked to Angel once, but she seemed so nice! Not like somebody who would just steal things from other people! Maybe he misjudged her. And...it was all Clayton's idea? There's a short silence as Quark tries to process this. He can understand if it was a really bad emergency and Clayton needed them really badly enough, but to not give them back...?]
They're your prescription! He can't just take them when he knows you need them! Isn't that... [What's the word?] medical malpractice?
[House must know all about that.]
Okay. I'll get them back for you. I need to get some more food anyway and I'll have to pass by the school to get back to them.
Well, I mean, we usually call it being an asshole where I'm from. Medical malpractice has a nice ring to it. Lemme know if you get it. Probably a good idea not to mention I told you this. I don't think he'll give it up willingly.
[Quark doesn't immediately have a response. He's thinking. He's not good at lying...or even just hiding things at all. But if he has to do it, he'll do it. Because...House needs his medicine! He can't imagine he wouldn't have a prescription that he needed filed unless it was really, really important.]
Does your prescription bottle look similar to the standard aspirin bottles you can find here sometimes? Maybe I can switch the labels so he doesn't even know it's gone.
No. Prescription bottles look different. They're orange-yellow with a white top, but if you've got aspirin or anything else small and round enough to fit in the bottle, you can switch out the pills for that.
Should be enough to pass a quick glance as long as there's something in there. He shouldn't be using them regularly with Rhys healed.

[He just has to get to Clayton's first aid kit...and then make sure he's distracted long enough for Quark to switch out the pills.]
I'll let you know when I get them. Or if something happens...but I think it'll be fine. I'm pretty good at hiding.

[He won't be saying 'thank you,' until Quark actually accomplishes anything.]
