I burned the doll as an offering, the one that looked like @ordo. The prophet didn't respond, and I didn't think anything else of it, until @ordo made his network post about coordination in the tunnels. It reminded me to follow up on the idea of the dolls and the people being connected.
As it turns out... there's more weight to that theory than previously expected.
@ordo reports being able to feel the fire burning the doll, as if he were the one being burnt. I'm not certain yet if that means the doll has to be sacrificed at the altar, or if these results can be repeated at any time.
Either way, like I said, if you still have any of those dolls, be careful.
Oh! I do have some short little pins with colorful heads. I think on a tiny doll like this, they might reach far enough into the chest to approximate the depth of the heart.
