I doubt you'll be able to outrun them, so your best bet is to bring someone with you to help divert their attention so you can both safely get inside, or at least help you get to somewhere with a locked door you can hide behind. I know you won't enjoy it, but it's too risky to go alone. Pick someone that can tolerate you the longest, tell them it'll be a short trip.
