Honestly, I hadn't paid attention before.

[Shiro can't really check the time on his tablet right now, but he figures that there's several hours until daybreak. There's no way House and America can have enough to burn for that amount of time.]

The tablets are going to be your best bet. Here, I've got some white things in my bag, I think.

[His thought being, if he leaves his tablet recording something white, that will provide better light for House. Well, marginally better, it's not like he has a flashlight to really light up the room he is in or anything.]

You severely underestimate the amount of crap Captain America here carts around.

[There's a brief pause before House adds, clearly not to Shiro.]

[And then his attention is back on the tablet.]

I've still got my cane and a few other things we can burn.

[He doesn't want to give up his mallet, but he will if he has to.]

If we turn up in the obits tell everyone it was way cooler than invisible demon wolves.

Burning your cane would make it much harder for you to get around.

[Though that's probably better than dying, admittedly.]

I haven't had enough time to study the anomalies yet to know if my methods are effective or not, so unfortunately my prayers probably won't be of any use to you. Sorry.

[House stares down at the tablet, trying to figure out if Shiro is being sarcastic or just oblivious.]
