That's right, people tend to just think of the sweet things on top of Christmas trees, and not the things made out of eyes and tongues and four wings. Even more people forget that Gabriel was originally the Angel of Death over kings. Other angels got things like 'children' and 'animals'.

But it's not too surprising that people forget. My mom was one of the few people really into that stuff.

Most people in our neighborhood probably would've called her eccentric. I learned early on that she had panic attacks. I'd help her through them as best I could, but she wouldn't admit they were an issue.
