[ Zack is suddenly very relieved that he did something about this sooner rather than later. That poor chica doesn't know what she's getting herself into apparently. Or maybe it's the other way around. Who knows? He's not about to ask. But he will hum in thought at that consideration. ]
Could be. They definitely know how to lock things down around here. We're still looking for some tools to pry things open. See what makes them tick. [ You know. Without ripping the entire wall apart and rendering their shelter useless. ]
Go for the vents first, if you can. Got any kids in the group traveling with you? They might be able to squirm inside if we can get one off. Or at least reach the farthest.
[ Yep. Totally suggesting sending small people into potentially dangerous spaces here. ]
Make sure to hold onto the ankles just in case, though.
You really enjoy sending other people to do the dirty work, don't you.
[ Half a tease. Half serious. Seriously, microchips. Vents. What else? Yes, they're unlikely to fit up there. He won't deny that. This could also ultimately benefit everyone as a whole, too. But he's not really one for risking death by spiders or something... ]
Ever seen a fat-tailed scorpion? They don't look like much, but they'll kill a couple of people every year. Sting hurts like hell, and they hang out in pavement and building cracks just waiting to screw you over. I lived in Egypt for a couple years. I can deal with those bastards, I can deal with some mechanical spiders.
And I guess we'll never know what I am good at. Such a tragedy. But maybe fewer people will bother me. In the meantime, keep an eye out for a kid that doesn't have a big brother hovering. And don't be too worried if we're microchipped somewhere we can't get to without more sophisticated surgical equipment.
[If Zack's going to be a dick, House is happy to toss out something that will up his paranoia.]
They might be better off that way. [ Is there a smile in his voice? Possibly. At this point, Zack's not adverse to his potential for dickery. And seeing as he's in a dick mood, well. Sorry, House, but this time? It's not in the cards. And may be more than all the reason why he's ignoring that comment about sophisticated surgery. ]
Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for that kid. [ And likely keep him away from "Stud" if he can. ] See ya. [ Only not.

Might be sensors they keep in the houses, then. Could be why they force us to take shelter each night.

[ He's ever thoughtful. ]

Yeah, I don't think that would fly.
[ As much as Hiro can annoy the everloving crap out of him, he's not about to cross Tadashi suggesting something like that. ]

[ Because he's assuming that's the only reason sticking a kid in a vent wouldn't fly. ]

[ IS THIS ANOTHER CHILD? LIKE. SERIOUSLY, MAN. SERIOUSLY?
Not that he's a big fan of annoying pickpocket kids, but you know... ]

[ It is absolutely another child. Also one that House does not believe, but so it goes. ]
